Active ingredients:
Procaine penicillin 200000IU
Dihydrostreptomycin 200mg/ml
Indications:
Penicillin is active against gram-positive bacteria and dihydro-streptomycin is active against gram-negative bacteria. Infections caused by penicillin G andor DHS susceptible microorganisms such as respiratory tract infections, uro-gentital tract infections, infections of skin and wounds, peritonitis, strangles in horses, mastitis, meningitis, erysipelas in pigs, otitis in dogs and cats, panaritium, clostridial infections, tetanus, anthrax, leptospirosis, actinomycosis in cattle, actinobacillosis in horses, polyarthritis and septicaemia.
Administration:
Intramuscular administration.
The treatment should be continued at least 48 hours after the temperature returns to normal and all signs of infection have disappeared
Dosage:
1ml per 10-20 kg of body weight once daily.
For a lactating animal, do not give more than (2) injections.
Do not inject more than 20ml in any one site
More than two injections will cause residues of antibiotics in milk for longer than 72 hours
